A lobby entry that screens visitors
The Luxer Access video intercom identifies people by facial recognition, QR code or PIN and also reads cards and fobs, with a 7-inch touchscreen directory. Residents answer intercom calls in the app, see the visitor and unlock from anywhere.
Elevator and floor access
Luxer Access can control elevators and floor access along with lobby entrances, amenity spaces and individual units. Scheduled access can be set for vendors and recurring visitors.
Garage entry
Vehicle access includes RFID garage credentials and the iDUHF reader, which reads vehicle tags at up to 15 meters and works with most garage door and gate controllers. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet credentials work underground without signal.
Deliveries without a crowded lobby
Carrier access lets drivers reach designated delivery areas without waiting on the front desk. In buildings with Luxer One® lockers or package rooms, access control, package management and parking run on one system.

Can a video intercom replace a 24/7 door attendant in an apartment tower?
Many towers use a video intercom and cloud access control to handle routine visitor and delivery entry. With Luxer Access, residents see visitors on video and unlock from the app, guests get expiring passes and carriers get managed entry. Does Luxer Access control elevators?
Yes. Luxer Access can control elevators and floor access along with lobby entrances, amenity spaces, parking garages and individual units.
How do high-rise residents get into the parking garage?
Luxer Access supports RFID garage credentials and the iDUHF vehicle tag reader. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet credentials also work without a cell or internet connection, including in underground garages.
What happens to high-rise access control if the power goes out?
With Luxer Access, battery backup keeps the system running during an outage and doors fail secure. Residents with existing credentials can still get in. Camera and video features are unavailable without power.
Is Luxer Access ADA compliant?
Yes. Luxer Access is ADA compliant, and fire and police can be issued dedicated credentials, typically stored in an on-site fire box to meet local emergency access requirements.
Do I need Luxer One lockers to use Luxer Access?
No. Luxer Access works on its own at any apartment community or building, new or existing. If you add Luxer One® package lockers later, the two connect natively and share one support team.
